Virginia home sale trends directly effect Smith Mountain Lake’s real estate scene. We’re very pleased with a recent report issued by the Virginia Center for Housing Research at Virginia Tech for Virginia Homes Sales that compares pace of residential sales, median residential pricing, sales volume and average days on the market for the past three years.
The report shows positive changes in 2013. Virginia has had a 23-percent increase in home sales from July 2012 to July 2013. This is exciting news for Virginia and the Smith Mountain Lake area, which usually fairs particularly well among Virginia localities.
