It’s that time of year again folks! The 29th annual Smith Mountain Lake Wine Festival will take place on Saturday September 23 & Sunday September 24 at the Crazy Horse Marina on Smith Mountain Lake. There will be a vast selection of top quality wines and beverages for the tasting as well as fine cuisine for purchase in breath-taking surroundings. You can also purchase your favorite bottles of wine.
Saturday will begin at 11 AM and end at 6PM, and Sunday will begin at 11 AM and end at 5PM. The wine festival takes place every year the last weekend in September here at the lake, so if you can’t make it this year be sure and mark your calendar for next year. It is something wine connoisseurs won’t want to miss. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 for a tasting ticket or $20 for a non-tasting ticket. If you wait and purchase the tickets at the door it will cost $35/$25. There is free parking and it is held rain or shine. Last year over 10,000 people attended.
