Things are beginning to liven up at Smith Mountain Lake this month! Here are just a few of the top events you’ll find going on in and around our region in April.
🎹 The SML Boomer Band, a group made up of local residents, will play your favorite hits from the 50s, 60s and 70s on April 8 from 6-8 p.m. at Mango’s Bar & Grill. Get tickets.
🎸 Hosted by the Town of Rocky Mount and Twin Creeks Distillery, the Homegrown Music Series is a family-friendly event on April 9 from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Rocky Mount Depot. Enjoy open jam sessions, a band concert and food truck.
🍔 Smith Mountain Lake Restaurant Week is set for April 18-May 1. Throughout the week-plus, you’ll be able to visit participating restaurants offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert specials at discounted prices and register to win gift certificates.
⛳ The Rotary Club of Smith Mountain Lake will host its annual charity golf tournament on April 22 at Copper Cove Golf Club. Cost is $80 per player or $300 for a foursome.
